Chris Earns Less Than A McDonalds’ Employee and ‘i’m lovin’ it’

Namecritic claims to have been a journalist in the past, citing 1998 as when he got started. Not many people get involved in journalism when they’re 40, especially when they have no college eduction. But, that didn’t stop Chris!

He says he got started in 1998. He also claims he got started in online business 12 years ago. How does that work out? It was obviously another part-time job. As Chris now works as a virtual assistant, it means one of two things happened: he got sacked, or he headed on to pastures new. Or, there’s the third option. That it is all just a lie to make you believe he’s experienced enough to write articles.

Following our scoop on Chris’ job, an assistant from Assistant For Real Estate has got in touch. We have found out that Kandra pays a whopping $5.20 an hour. That means Chris left his job as a journalist to earn less than a middle manager in Kazakhistan.

Chris is one of the most poorly educated journalists ever to enter the field, if he’s telling the truth. His writing is plagued with comma splices and disagreeing pronouns and antecedents, not to mention those dastardly split infinitives. To put things in perspective, that’s the same as a math teacher who thinks pie is something you eat for a nutritious snack.

I don’t believe he ever worked as a journalist. If he did, he must have got sacked as he now earns $5.20 an hour and he works for a company that helps real estate agencies with their admin. His jobs’s as safe as a nuclear bomb in the hands of Osama Bin Laden.

Assistant For Real Estate Warning: They’re Scammers

Posted in Chris McElroy by namecriticscam on December 31, 2008

Namecritic Scam, folks, has done it again. Another hot exclusive that turned out to be bang on the money.  In this post, we revealed how Chris was now working with assistantforrealestate.com. His employer was then kind enough to respond to an email from us; this has been noted on the post’s update.

Before you work with Chris or Assistant For Real Estate, make sure you read the blog post and the subsequent update. You can thank me later.

AssistantForRealEstate.com Employs Scammer Chris McElroy

Posted in Chris McElroy by namecriticscam on December 30, 2008

In a Namecritic Scam exclusive, we are able to reveal that Chris McElroy is involved with Assistant For Real Estate. Assistantforrealestate.com provides business support services to the real estate industry,  and our sources claim that Chris’ work is specifically related to blogging services, setting up blogs and helping real estate marketers to promote their businesses. We have received emails from clients of the company, complaining about the poor service they have received from Chris. One customer commented:

If you want to get your website banned from Google, you should work with Assistant For Real Estate.

Our temptation is to believe that Kandra Hamric, owner of Assistant For Real Estate, is probably unaware of exactly Chris’ incompetence. One piece of evidence to support this theory comes from Chris trying to f— his employer over. Chris is offering his customers his own services, through Article Content Provider, and attempting to bypass his employer in order to buffer his earnings, according to one of our sources:

Chris recommended I use the article marketing services of Article Content Provider, even being so kind as to offer a free consultation!

This could indicate that Kandra is unaware that Chris is responsible for clients’ plummeting search results. However, if Kandra is incapable of doing due diligence on employees then that should hardly fill clients with confidence. The clients who we have spoke with are less than pleased with how the business operates.

Chris’ employer’s website doesn’t even rank for its own name, fueling suspicions that Chris has got his fingers on the company’s marketing strategy as well as that of its clients. The website looks terrible and could well have been built by Chuck Crawford.

Namecritic Scams has taken the view, for some time, that Chris is not very well off. While his scams provide a moderate income, they are not enough for him to get by on. One reader of Namecritic Scams has already sent us a credit report on Chris, and therefore we know things ain’t looking to hot. I think the fact that Chris has had to get a job adds more weight behind the view that Chris’ finances are headed South for the winter. For those of you naughty folks that like to see Chris fail, you can take solace from Chris being involved in providing services to the real estate industry. Hardly the hottest sector to be involved in at the moment!

Namecritic’s charity scam expose, first noted by Namecritic Scam, was published in August 2007. In the comments of this post Chris admitted to what he done, leading to this follow up post. Namecritic Scam then went on to make the proprietor of ArticleContentProvider.com blush on a number of occasions, revealing:

No business should use the services of someone who is prepared to openly admit to scamming a charity. For as long as assistantforrealestate.com continue to advocate that their clients use the services of a scammer, they should not be trusted. Even if you forget about Chris scamming charity donors and internet marketing clients, the many complaints about his incompetence should be enough to eradicate him from any employer’s payroll.

UPDATE:

Further to this post being published, an email was sent to the owner of AssistantForRealEstate.com saying:

Please check out this website if you have not already. The first post is about your company.

In a shocking and damming response, Kandra Hamric said:

Who cares.. whos owns this?

Kandra Hamric
Virtual Real Estate Assistant
Direct: 734-446-0328
Ph: 888-REVA-USA
Fax: 888-738-2872
Email: Kandra@AssistantForRealEstate.com

It’s a Great Day in Real Estate!

Kandra thinks it is okay that:

  • Chris steals money from the families of missing children.
  • Chris steals from his clients.
  • AssistantForRealEstate.com’s clients are being banned from Google

Chris looks like he has found the perfect employer: a consciousness employer. Not only that, perhaps Kandra is without a brain too. Why wouldn’t it matter that our source has been offered work from Chris directly, cutting Kandra’s business out of the loop?

If you a customer of assistantforrealestate.com, Kandra doesn’t care that assistantforrealestate.com’s website is banned from Google and that its little marketing executive is trying to up sell you the latest sure-fire marketing tactics that don’t work.

We’re Coming To HQ Of Chris McElroy’s Scam Operation

Posted in Chris McElroy by namecriticscam on November 21, 2008

In July 09 we’re going to be here:

I will be providing an update on our project later this year. You may email namecriticscam @ google mail dot com if you are interested in participating in a peaceful protest. You or someone you know must have been directly affected by Chris’ online behavior.

Chris, around one year ago you probably thought this was going to end soon.  That was in August 2007. More than a year later we’re as fired up as ever, and the publishing is not going to end. Sure, you’ve tried, but you’ve not tried hard enough. You have made your crappy blogs, registered namecritic.info and done a few other things too.

We’ve got so much left in the tank. In the next year, we will be doing the following:

  • Making a post in many forums where you have a profile, and alerting them to the scam. This is going to cause even more damage to your search engine rankings.
  • Your radio show will have comments to alert your listeners to what you are capable of.
  • We will do what it takes to get all of your Twitter followers following us. We will show them our posts and tell them what you’re capable of. This is an advance warning, so make sure to discourage your clients from following you on Twitter.
  • We have a list of all of your writers acquired from an email sent out in March. In future your employees should BCC to your list of writers. That was a school boy error. I realize not all of them will be working with you now, but I sure hope some of them are!
  • A peaceful protest outside your home in July 09. Your neighbors who have yet to visit our website will get to know the truth about you then.
  • I would be shocked if 2009 did not involve court action.
  • We know a few of your current and past writers, and based on that we have a decent list of your clients from searching Google for their articles. All of them are going to receive an email. The important ones will receive a phone call.

We’re fired and ready to go Mr McElroy. You business is already going down the tubes, and we’re going to help you sink it.

Your friend Chuck is hardly an innocent bystander, but he’s getting hurt all the same. You can have him on your radio show and send him one client a month, and you’re still not going to have a net positive impact on his business.

That’s right Fat Face: with friends like these…

Is It Chris Or Just the Sea Air? Either Way, It’s a Moron From Miami

Posted in Chris McElroy by namecriticscam on March 19, 2008

And we thought it couldn’t get any worse. Now someone with a Miami IP address has came by and dropped this comment. This smells like Chris, however it may well not be. The sea air is maybe causing problems down that way. Just like Chris, this absolute – and utter – moron takes the approach of: I know who you are but I am not going to say.

Ahh, well in that case I better just give in and admit who I am 🙂

If you know, why doesn’t someone come by and give an actual name. Of course, if they took that approach, it would be much harder for them to change their mind later on.

Also, just on the off chance you really do think Chris is not a scammer…Why don’t you contact the sources listed and actually read what Chris admits to doing with the Kid Search Network? Whether it is Namecritic or not, this guy really is as thick as pig sh!t.

To support the point that it was written by Chris, completely avoiding the crux of the argument has Namecritic written all over it.

A good way to tackle the issues set out would be to say things like:

1. Chris spams forums because…

2. Chris pays his writers through his charity because…

3. Chris did not know that Chuck created his Wiki page because…

4. Chris never got this client banned from the SERPs because…

5. Chris did not know that Chuck was the worst web designer in Mexico because…

6. Chris only has one enemy who is a disgruntled employee because…

Also, Chris always goes on about people being too scared to admit who they are. He claims it is cowardly. Well, my delinquent friend, it seems like we have a little pussy cat in our midst.

UPDATE: I have decided to search for the IP address location here (72.28.158.96) and then looked to find where Chris lives.

The results? Remarkable. It just so happens that a comment which someone was unwilling to own up to, comes from somewhere 3.3 miles away from Chris.

Clients of Chris Should Wake Up And Smell The Coffee

Posted in Chris McElroy by namecriticscam on March 19, 2008

We have decided to keep stum in the forums and on the media properties where Namecritic (or his buddy) actively promotes himself. Largely because the pillars of the community already appear to take him with a grain of salt. And, it’s simply not scalable for us to keep up with spamming of his magnitude.

Through going after his name we can cut of his blood supply at the source. I assume, although I am not certain, that most people would do some due diligence before contracting with him. Especially when he used to actively encourage it. Lots of times however, people know that Article Content Provider enjoy giving their clients a good fu<k!ng yet they continue to work with them regardless. One company who we have spoke with in the last couple of weeks, worked with Chris despite reading this first.

They said they believed Allen Taylor’s genuine response and thought his helpful posts built the company’s credibility. The fact is, though, being a scammer doesn’t have to be black and white. It depends on your expectations and largely your luck.

Clearly what Chris gets up to with charity endeavours would be considered scam with a capital S whatever way you paint it. But sometimes people receive the articles that they pay for. Although from our experience a large percentage of people don’t. Almost all of his SEO clients don’t get what they expect and the same goes for web design clients too. It doesn’t take a marketing whiz-kid to work out his tactics and results are less than great. If you just want articles and prepared for a deadline or two to pass on by, you stand a (completely unscientific) 40% of getting what you’re looking for.

Of the blogging and SEO clients that have received entirely underwhelming results, albeit for a cheap price, not one stands out as an exception to that rule. One of his clients recently explained how his results completely tanked after getting linked into the Namecritic blog network. $1200 in monthly sales from search traffic wiped from the top-line in a couple of weeks.

A client of Chris, who decided to file against Article Content Provider on rip-off report is quick to label him as a black-hat. This may well be the case, but black-hat is fine if you can get away with it and your clients are aware of the risk. The work of Chris, however, is probably more of a shade of gray. But more importantly, it all comes down to the fact that his tactics are crap. Chris continues to SEO like it’s the 90s again, with exact-match anchor text, and — as Allen Taylor so expertly put it — keyword-rich content. As an aside, why is it that keyword rich creates such better connotations than keyword stuffed?

Allen, though, isn’t a bad chap from the impression I get. He has actually helped some writers and clients to get their money back when Chris has done the dirty on them. Google claim that it’s better to be in China, than not at all, so they can try and do something about what’s going on there. Similar to Allen, it’s all about the money, but at least they can try and do the right thing from time to time.

Clients of Namecritic, get out while you still can. Working with Chris will increase your expenses and lower your sales. If, to you, that sounds like an attractive proposition, Joel Comm might have an ebook or two he’s looking to punt.

Ding Dong Chris Is Wrong

Posted in Chris McElroy by namecriticscam on March 18, 2008

Here’s what Chris had to say on who he thinks is to blame for exposing him. Notice the way he talks to one person.

My favorites included:

I already know who you are. I just want to see if you are too much of a coward to tell everyone else. The skeletons in your closet are the other reasons you don’t come forward.

Most people, with an IQ somewhere north of 20, would probably guess he is baiting the person out of the closet not really 100% sure who they are. If he did know, why not mention their name? The skeletons issue is used to discredit the source.

This would mean Chris has a very specific idea of who he thinks hates him on the web. He says that one single disgruntled employee is the only enemy he has made on his many years scamming and writing vomit-inducing prose. I know what you’re thinking. That can’t be true. Well, your right. But first, let’s explore the issue of using the disgruntled employee card to justify wrong-doing. Just because an employee is unhappy, this does not mean it is not for a good reason. For example, sometimes your employer really can be a hot-headed, ego-pumped, tw@t face.

Now for a bit of evidence to show that Chris’ ex-staffer isn’t the only one who has a grudge against the Miami cowboy. And, also proof that everyone does not wish to remain under-the-radar. Another fallacy that Chris has been keen to promote.

1. This comment. James explains how Chuck ripped him off for $6000. What’s that got to do with Chris? Well, as we mentioned before, they are partners in crime. In all fairness though, Chris never had a direct involvement in this one. But referring someone to a Mexican-based web designer who’s proud to put his name to a site like this is bound to cause a problem or two.

2. This filing against Article Content Provider on Rip-off Report. This person is happy to give their name and is clearly an ex-client rather than an employee. Wrong again Mr McElroy.

3. Frank was also ripped off by the old codgers. Chris had direct involvment in this transaction. He was happy to take his share of the winnings, but not so happy to help Franky-boy get his problems resolved.

But, if you think a few thousand dollars here and there are the extent of the problem, you have another thing coming boys and girls. So until next time Chris, we are pleased to say that you are wrong again. Plain and simply wrong. In typical fashion we don’t expect a direct answer from Chris to this question. Let alone an acknowledgement. He’s too busy wondering where his next project’s coming from, and how he’s going to pay for his trip across the Mexican border to pal-up with Chuck when the FBI come knocking.

Chris McElroy Makes Post About Our Blog

Posted in Chris McElroy by namecriticscam on August 20, 2007

Chris has posted a blog entry in which he says our site, and our friends over at Namecritic Ism are cowards. Let’s consider the facts Mr McElroy.

1. You brag that you have never had an unhappy client, or writer, and that this can be proved through searching Google. We have over 100 people that claim to have been ripped off by you. Some have been verified. Some have not, as yet.

2. You have made legal threats. Maybe people are not saying who they are because they don’t want to be taken to court, as you have promised to do. Why don’t you retract your legal threats?

3. You are worried that we are not going to talk about your other companies. Don’t worry namecritic. We will be talking about them – including your adult websites and other provider sites. We will be mentioning all the sites you have had banned from Google using “your white hat tactics”, that we know about. And before we forget… Some SEO you are. We were on the first page of Google for namecritic within 2 days, and you say you have been online for 12 years and everyone is talking about you. Interesting stuff.

4. Ohh and Chris… Got any proof people started calling you namecritic and it is not a moniker made by you, for you? We will be sure to reference it if it’s true.
